Who are the Minnie Vinnies?

The Mini Vinnies are quite literally mini St.Vincent de Paul’s. They are groups of 7 to 11 year olds based in schools and parishes across England and Wales, and in several other countries across the world. They come together to form a part of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, England and Wales, a voluntary organisation dedicated to tackling poverty in all its forms.

Mini Vinnies meet to pray, discuss and support however they can to help make a difference in their communities.  Mini Vinnies use a simple formula: see, think, do. They learn to spot people in need and discover how they can best help them.  Most importantly, they then turn their concerns into action to try to make a difference.

Our Mini Vinnies

Congratulations to our Mini Vinnies for this academic year (2023-24), who were commissioned at Mass last week by Father Dominique.  They made their pledge to do what they can to help others in need.  Well done to all of you, for giving up your time to turn your concerns into action.
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
